About Fulford´s Antiques

Fulford´s Antiques was the beginning of what is now a multi-faceted and multi-generational family-owned business. We have been providing quality antiques since 1967, and now have more than 40 years of experience dealing with antique furniture and wood products. We sell both wholesale and retail. Fulford´s have more than 12,000 items in stock, pieces with excellent craftsmanship made of quality materials. Our two warehouses with over 300,000 square feet hold some of the finest antiques available today, including English, Irish and French furniture. Chippendale and Hepplewhite-style pieces are a specialty. With our expert staff, Fulford´s is happy to locate special or hard-to-find pieces that we may not currently have in stock.

Over the years, Fulfords has expanded to include hardwood flooring, custom cabinets, exposed beams, architectural elements, custom furniture, reclaimed brick and custom made reproduction antique beds, as well as offering quality antique repair and restoration. We have become a diversified family business. Fulford Flooring works with wood from buildings constructed in the 1700s, 1800s, and early 1900s. Often these older buildings were made with a quality of lumber that is no longer available. Fulfords has the privilege of giving new life to the materials in these older buildings slated for demolition.

 

Creating “green products” by recycling the wood and architectural elements gives Fulfords great pleasure. Award winning, antique heart pine flooring is a specialty. However, we also reclaim and recycle wormy chestnut, red and white oak, white pine and other woods.

 

Recycled, century-old bricks are another specialty. The bricks are hand chiseled to restore their original size and shape. Fulfords is known for its “Silas Lucas Brick”, which were hand made in the 19th Century. With colors ranging from dark red to oranges and brown, many consider these some of the most attractive bricks ever made. The character and look of these bricks can add to the beauty of any home.

 

Yet another part of the company provides leather bound books to add warmth and beauty to any bookcase. Several thousand volumes are in inventory at any given time. With both, full leather bound English books and quarter bound Scandinavian books, we can fill any bookcase. We sell both to the retail and the trade market.

 

Fulford´s has a collection of 17th and 18th century reproduction antiques to fit any situation. What we don´t have, our woodworking artisans can produce. In the custom woodworking shop, we make high quality reproductions as well as custom furniture. Bring a picture and Fulford´s will build you the piece of furniture. As part of our diverse offerings, Fulfords maintains a full production, custom cabinet shop to provide kitchen and household cabinets of the highest quality. From cabinets for a cabin to cabinets for a manor, we make them all. Hardwood cabinets are a specialty as are wooden counter tops of mahogany or heart pine.
